Archie David Cup semi-finals next

Sifani, Las Estrellas, Four Quarters Black and AFB vying for title at Guards Polo Club

The Guards Polo Club.

The quarter-finals of The Archie David Cup, one of Britain’s longest-standing and most popular low-handicap polo events, turned out to be four thrilling and hard-fought matches this Wednesday (June 27th).

Sifani defeated Newton Heath 5-4, Las Estrellas defeated Shalimar 8-7, and Four Quarters Black defeated Black Eagles 6-5, while AFB defeated Rigby & Rigby 6-5.

Sifani, Las Estrellas, Four Quarters Black and AFB thus moved forward to the semi-finals of this event which is held in honour of Major Archie David, one of the club's founders in 1955. Twenty-two 22-goal teams are competing in this year’s edition of the event.
