A new edition of the Queen's Cup, one of Britain's most important polo tournaments, is due to kick off this Tuesday (May 22nd), at the Guards Polo Club. This will be the event's 52nd edition.

Two matches will be played on the opening day: Zacara vs. El Remanso, and reigning champions Talandracas vs. Aravali. The event is of even more importance this year, as this is the 60th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth's coronation.

Sixteen 22-goal teams will be taking part in the event, with six 10-handicap players –all of them from Argentina- in the line-ups: Gonzalo Pieres, Jr, Facundo Pieres, Juan Martín Nero, Sebastián Merlos, Pablo MacDonough y Adolfo Cambiaso, Jr.
