2012 Tang Polo Club calendar announced

Five leading tournaments. The China Open stands out

The Tang Polo Club is undoubtedly one of the leading venues in what refers to working towards polo being played by more and more people in China.

With the aim of fostering and developing polo in the region, the club recently announced its 2012 seasonal calendar. There will be five championships going ahead, with the China Open being the leading one.

This season's curtain-raiser will be the Opening Season Tournament, due to take place on May 26th/27th, with four teams (handicaps between 4 and 6 goals) competing for honours. Nearly a month later, on June 16th/17th, four teams will play the Amateur Cup Tournament.

Between August 23rd and 26th, the Warrior Cup Tournament will take place, with four 10-goal teams taking part. After which, the most-awaited event of the season will go ahead, in the shape of the China Open, with four 16-goal teams entered for the September 15th/30th event.

Season-closing tournament will be the TPC Cup Tournament, between October 10th and 14th.
