United States foursome claims Match Confraternidad Internacional Femenino

Visiting ladies' team defeats Argentina at Palermo

The 1st Match Confraternidad Internacional Femenino was played on Monday, April 30th, organized by the Club Hípico Militar San Jorge, and with the backing of the Asociación Argentina de Polo. Club Hípico Militar San Jorge, representing Argentina, faced the Empire Polo Club, from the United States.

The match was played at Polo's Cathedral in Buenos Aires's district of Palermo, and the visiting team won 11-7, proceeding to lift the Pistarini Polo Glam trophy. The idea behind the event was to promote women's polo around the world, and for it to be included in the WCT (Women's Championship Tournament) calendar. The San Jorge club is a pioneer venue in what refers to women’s polo tournaments in Argentina.
