Royal Salute will battle against Tang Polo Club today in the Final of The Ambassador Cup in Thailand.
The Royal Salute team is comprised of the members of the Thai National team who have battled their way through this tournament with a very narrow but exciting victory over L'Oreal Men Expert and then a tie score against Paisano Polo Academy from Singapore in the final 20 seconds from a 30 yard penalty.
Tang Polo Club team is Captained by Shilai Liu, the owner of Tang Polo Club in Beijing, and he is playing in the final today with Vichai Raksriaksorn, the President of the Thai Polo Association, with Lucas Lujan and his brother Santiago.
The Tang team is looking very strong with two solid victories over Mitavite and Chopard, but after watching Royal Salute, one would be mistaken not to consider the value of pure heart and tenacity with a team like this.
The Ambassador Cup is famous in Thailand, because it is held at the 4-6 goal level and is comprised of teams with beginners and professionals.
The final will be played under the lights at VR Sports Club Saturday 18 Feb at 7pm.
