The final of the Snow Polo World Cup was played on Sunday, February 12th. This is the first edition of the event, which has been hosted by China's Tianjin Goldin Metropolitan Polo Club.

With a huge amount of spectators in attendance, Hong Kong - China, the home team, claimed the title with victory against the South African foursome. No less than 12 teams took part (handicaps ranging from 14 to 16 goals) and, had it not been for the match it drew with England and later lost the penalty decider, the home team would have remained undefeated throughout the tournament.

England defeated Argentina in the third place-deciding match that same day. During the award ceremony, Guillermo Terrera received the prize corresponding to MVP, while Negro, ridden by Terrera, was named the Best Playing Pony.
