Chapaleufú Open kicks off today
The Heguy family's club and its 80th Anniversary event
A new edition of the Abierto del Club Chapaleufú is due to kick off on Thursday, February 2nd at the club of the Heguy family, with the Copa Horacio Antonio Heguy and the Copa Gonzalo Heguy (Open) and the Copa Gobernación de La Pampa (Handicap) up for grabs.
This renowned tournament forms part of the celebrations of the venue's 80th Anniversary, located in Intendente Alvear, province of La Pampa. A good number of the country's best players will be taking part in the event, forming part of the six teams (between 26 and 30 goals) that have registered an entry. This is the highest-handicap event to take place up-country in Argentina.
On the opening day, Malapata will be facing Chapa Bar, Anay Sur will play against La Gitana, and La Chiquita against El Tilo.
