Narrow win leads to glory for La Sarita in Thai Open
Half-a-goal, the difference between success and defeat in Thailand thriller
After ten days' action, the 2012 BMW - B Grimm Thai Open came to an end last Saturday (January 21st) at the Thai Polo & Equestrian Club, in Thailand.
An action-packed final saw Thai Polo rally towards the end of the match, but the team unable to overcome the triumphant La Sarita squad, that claimed the title with an ever-so-narrow 8 ½-8 victory, despite Thai Polo having reduced the winning teams advantage by three goals during the last chukker.
Third place in the tournament went to Royal Pahang, that defeated Troika 8-6. Behind these two teams came Ranhill, GTM, Macau, Axus and BRDB-IBIL.
