The Charity Polo Clash took place at the Ghantoot Racing & Polo Club (Abu Dhabi) on Friday, December 9th, the same day during which the world's leading polo tournament's final was played at Palermo, in Argentina. The charity event was in aid of the Al Ain Private Centre for Special Care and Rehabilitation.

The ADAC and ADBC teams took part in the match, with the first-mentioned foursome emerging victorious by 11-6. The event took place under the patronage of Sheikh Falah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, president of the Ghantoot Racing & Polo Club.

Argentina's Oscar Colombres scored four of the ADAC team’s goals. His team-mates were Abdullah bin Desmal (three goals scored), Ahmed bin Desmal (two goals) and Nasser al Dhari (two goals).

Ramiro Cordero and Ali al Marri scored two goals each for ADCB, while Tariq Bin Desmal and Ahmed al Neami scored one each.
