El Recuerdo claims La Tarde Polo Club event's Copa de Oro
Sixteen teams, in three divisions, enjoyed a weekend's polo at Mercedes, Argentina
La Tarde Polo Club, in Mercedes (Buenos Aires province) went ahead with its three-day annual tournament for Kids, Beginners and team of 0 to 6 goals' handicap, organized by Juan Martín Sarli and Ignacio Boronat.
The event took place between Friday 28th and Sunday, October 30th, with a total of sixteen teams competing.
In the 0-/6-goal division, El Recuerdo claimed the Copa de Oro by defeating La Carolina 12-10, while El Relincho won the Copa de Plata, with a narrow, 11-10, win against El Paso Polo Ranch.
In the Kids division, El Relincho I were the champions, with victory against El Relincho II, 6-4. And in the Beginners division, it was the El Relincho team that claimed top honours by defeating Puken Etiqueta Negro, 5-3.
