Italy wins European qualifying rounds
Victory against England leads to first place on home ground at Villa a Sesta

After having lost its previous match against England in the series, Italy sought revenge against in the final of the European qualifying rounds corresponding to the World Polo Championship (low handicap) which is due to take place between October 10th and 21st in San Luis, Argentina.
The Italian squad won the match 10-8 against England and celebrated in style at the Villa a Sesta Polo Club, in Bucine, Italy. These two European national teams will now join Argentina, Chile, Brazil, United States, Mexico, Australia, India and Pakistan in the forthcoming world cup .
France defeated Germany and claimed third place.
