All ten teams that will take part in the forthcoming World Polo Championship at San Luis, Argentina have now emerged. On Thursday, September 29th, Italy and England won their respective matches and claimed the last two berths corresponding to the event.

England defeated Holland 9-3 1/2, while Italy narrowly defeated France, 10-9. This latter nation was the only one that also still had a chance to claim one of the remaining berths.

However, this European qualifying tournament has not yet ended, as France still has to face Germany, and Italy plays England this coming Saturday (October 1st). On Sunday (2nd) these last two teams will play the final, so as to see in which zone each of them plays the World Championship.
