England got closer to reaching the World Polo Championship which is due to take place at San Luis, Argentima, with another win in the European zone eliminatories, in Italy, on September 27th.

The team anrrowly defeated France 9-8 and in the process claimed its second win, in two matches, here. On the same day, Germany defeated Holland 11-9 1/2 .

Next Thursday (September 29th) the two teams that will proceed to take part in the World Polo Championship may emerge at Villa a Sesta Club, after Italy has played against France and England against Holland. If the Italian and English teams win these matches, they'll be present at San Luis. If only England is successful on Thursday, it will take part in the championship, while the French need to defeat Italy so as to have a chance of qualifying.
