Italy nears in on berth in World Polo Ch'ship
Team claims second win in European eliminatories. France's debut outing ends in success

The second day of the eliminatories corresponding to the European zone took place on Sunday, September 25th. Five teams are vying for two places of the forthcoming FIP World Polo Championship (low handicap), which is due to go ahead at San Luis, in central Argentina, during next October.
The action is taking place at Italy's Villa a Este Polo Club, in Bucine. Home team Italy managed to trounce Germany 17-5 in one of the day's matches, mananging to remain undefeated so far, while France also easily overcame rivals Holland, 18-7 1/2 .
Tuesday, September 27th is the next date on the schedule, when England will be facing France, and Germany will be facingHolland.
