European teams vying for place in World Championship
Two teams from Europe to complete list of ten foursomes

The date of the FIP (low-handicap) World Polo Championship is approaching fast. The event will take place in San Luis, in central Argentina, from October 10th to 21st, with the participating teams' handicap not higher than 14 goals.
So far there are eight teams that have qualified for the event (Argentina, Chile, United States, Mexico, India, Pakistan, Australia and Brazil). The remaining two teams will be from Europe, where the corresponding qualifying matches will be played as from Saturday, September 25th.
The venue for these matches will be the Villa a Sesta Polo Club, in Buchine, Italy, where the home team, together with Holland, England, Germany, and France will go for the two remaining berths of the forthcoming World Championship.
The elimination system will be a round-robin, and the two best-placed teams will then play a final, although both finalists will have their place already secured in San Luis. The first match will be played on Saturday, September 24th, when Italy will be facing Holland, and England will be facing Germany.
