Three ladies teams (handicaps of 1 and 2 goals) are taking part in the third edition of the Pellicano Ladies Cup which began on Thursday, July 21st at Italy's Argentario Polo Club. The event is due to end on Sunday, July 24th.

On the opening day, Calcutta Polo Tea, headed by Argentinian player Lía Salvo (3-goal handicap), defeated La Mimosa Green Season 7-5.

Friday 22nd will be the event's second day, when Calcutta Polo Team faces the Las Che Polo Team foursome. The remaining match of this 'round robin' event is to be played on Saturday 23rd, from where the Sunday 24th finalists will emerge.
