A thrilling final marked the end of England and Europe's leading polo tournament, the Veuve Clicquot Gold Cup, at Cowdray Park Polo Club this Sunday, July 17th.

Zacara and Les Lions both gave their absolute best, and the first-named foursome finally claimed title honours by winning the match 12-11.

English patron Lyndon Lea, Argentinians Gonzalo Deltour and Hilario Ulloa, and South Africa's Ignatius du Plessis lifted Europe's most important trophy following a 6-0 record in the three-week long tournament.
