Popular Irishman Eddie Kennedy is a talented and much admired artist within the polo world, his work draws on a lifetime's experience, having been a player, polo manager and now polo coach, Eddie has always found time to capture the beauty and energy of the sport.

After starting his polo career in Dublin at the All Ireland Polo Club, Eddie branched out into being a stuntman in the TV and film industry, appearing in films such as Excalibur, Educating Rita and the Irish RM.

In his career Eddie has worked with many of the legendary polo players and teams: he has traveled the world helping to revive and relaunch the Dubai Polo and Equestrian Club, managed the Brunei Polo organisation and later Coworth Park Polo Centre and Hurtwood Park Polo Club. Now based near Ascot, Eddie is teaching polo, has returned to painting and recently showed some of his new work at the pre-season polo party at PJs in Fulham.

Eddie is proud to be associated with the Sunset Polo event in aid of the Fundacion Ideas del Sur, and is donating a specially commissioned picture to be auctioned in aid of the charity. Several of his polo pictures will be showcased at Ham Polo Club during the event.
