Five teams of up to 6 goals' handicap began the 5th Torneo de Polo de La Maruja on Friday (November 5th), at the similarly-named venue located on the outskirts of Chivilcoy (Argentina).

Two matches were played on the opening day, with El Campito overwhelming La Maruja 14-3 in the first match, prior to midday. In the afternoon clash, La Tarde just managed to overcome El Fogón, 10-9. The Cheroke team had the day off.

The second couple of matches has been programmed for Saturday, November 6th, and Cheroke will face La Tarde, after which El Fogón will clash with El Campito. La Maruja will have the day off. The final will be played on Sunday 7th.
