Kitty Kats claims Peanut Polo Invitational Cup
Event at Augusta, Canada, in aid of Rescue dogs
The Augusta Polo Club is located forty-five minutes South of Ottawa, Canada's capital city, and is the venue where last Sunday (29th) the Peanut Polo Invitational Cup took place, which comprised a friendly match with the aim of collecting funds for Rescue dogs in the area.
The two intervening teams were Mercedes Benz Kanine Krusaders and Peanut Polo Kitty Kats, with the latter-mentioned team emerging victorious by 8-4 and retaining the title it had claimed in 2009. Trevesa, the mare belonging to Steven Littlechild, was elected as the best pony of the championship, while George Bezak, part of the defeated team's line-up and a player of the Augusta Polo Club, was awarded the MVP prize.
Due to the success of the tournament's recent editions, and due to the fact that it allows families to enjoy a wonderful summer's afternoon at a beautiful place, the 2011 edition has already been confirmed.
