Flipping the wrist at impact will only weaken your shot

Tips to help you improve on your game

The majority of beginners tend to flip their wrists at impact, with the purpose of "helping" the shot. But this tiny movement is a great energy waster, and the shot ends up being much weaker than it should. It is because the shoulder stops rotating and the impact tends to top the ball.

The head of the mallet rotates from an open position to square to the ball at impact.
