A quota of luck plus plenty of merit led to Circa being one of the Freebooters Classic finalists, a tournament which has been going ahead at the International Polo Club, in Wellington, Florida. Lechuza I is to be the event’s remaining finalist.

Santa Clara and Villa de Lago faced each other in the last of the qualifying rounds, with the latter team narrowly edging its rival, 10-9.
Villa de Lago thus had two wins and one defeat, just like Lechuza II and Circa.

However, goal average was on Circa’s side, which means this team will battle it out for overall honours against Lechuza I on Saturday, March 6th, in this tournament open to outfits with handicaps not superior to 14. Worthy of mention is that Lechuza I remains the only undefeated team so far.
