The great initiative brought forth by 10-handicap players Adolfo Cambiaso (Jr.) and Gonzalo Pieres back in 2006, in what refers to the inception of the Argentina Polo Tour Patio Bullrich, has been growing year after year. This current season looks to be no exception to the rule.

The initial phase of the Tour ended last weekend at El Remanso Polo Club (in Lobos, Buenos Aires province) with Claremont taking home the trophy. As from this Wednesday, March 3rd, the tournament’s second phase will begin, with the Palermo and Pilar premises of the Asociación Argentina de Polo playing host to the action.

The eight teams’ (handicaps of up to 16) and their respective zone divisions are: Valartis Bank Polo Team, La Ginevra, Olden Zebra and La Picaza, in Zone A. And Anaconda, Cabreuva, Tom Taylor and Boca Polo Team in Zone B.

The event’s first day fixture is as follows: Valartis Bank vs. La Ginevra y Olden Zebra vs. La Picaza, both matches to be played in Pilar; and Tregar vs. Cabreuva and Tom Taylor vs. Boca Polo Team; both at Palermo.

As mentioned above, the event will take place between March 3rd and 13th. The following phase will go ahead at Tortugas (March 18th to April 3rd) and Centauros Polo Club (same dates as at Tortugas), and the Tour will come to an end at Ellerstina (April 6th to April 17th).
