South Africa’s team felt very much at home

Team overcame Italy and clinched the BMW International event at Val de Vie Polo Club

A great crowd-attracting event took place on Saturday, February 27th in South Africa, a country whose presence in the world polo scene is ever-increasing.

The BMW International took place at the wonderfully scenic premises of the Val de Vie Polo Club. With a large amount of spectators in attendance, and the local South African foursome dominated its Italian rivals towards a 14-5 victory.

After the match, various activities were planned, with the catering including typical foods from South Africa and Italy, and which were served in the club’s spacious main hall for more than 800 people.
