Copa Harriott goes down to wire between Emlor and El Amanecer
Six exciting matches at Coronel Suárez, prior to Sunday’s finish. Two teams remain undefeated
There were no less than 12 teams playing at the Coronl Suárez Polo Club (Argentina) this Saturday, where the Copa Juan Carlos Harriott is going ahead.
The Pony outfit claimed its first success in the event by overcoming San Juan 5-4, although it does not have any chances of claiming the title tomorrow. Later on in the day, Pingüinos clobbered Escorihuela Gascón 15-7, after which Scorribanda Polo team did so by 16-8 against home team Coronel Suárez. Then came the match between Los Vegetales and Pucará, with the latter team winning 11-9. El Amanecer, one of the two undefeated teams in this tournament so far, then proceeded to defeat El Colibrí, 12-11, and Emlor, also undefeated, overcame Tierra Gaucha 13-11.
All is set for Sunday’s definition matches, as from 6:00 p.m., local time, with Emlor and El Amanecer playing for the title. The day’s remaining clashes are as follows: San Juan vs. Pingüinos; Pony vs. Escorihuela Gascon; Scorribanda Polo Tean vs. Pucara; Los Vegetales vs. Coronel Suárez; and El Colibrí vs. Tierra Gaucha.
