Bongani unstoppable in CaRRoL BoYeS Ladies Cup

Teams claims second win on Day 2 of event, could claim title on Sunday

The CaRRoL BoYeS Ladies Cup continues at full steam at the Val de Vie Polo Club (South Africa), one of the most important polo venues of Africa.

Saturday (13th) saw the second day’s fixture go ahead, with Bongani Mountain Lodge repeating its victory of the previous day and becoming the only team with two wins to its name. This means that even losing, it could claim the title following Sunday’s matches, if goal differences are on its side.

The Vale de Vie vs. Bongani battle turned out to be a very even one: no scoring during the first chukker and with Bongani winning 2-1 at the end of the second period. They were 3-all at the end of the third one and only in the final chukker was Bongani able to ease ahead towards a final, 4-3 result.

The remaining clash was not such an even one, with Britesmile clearly outpacing Kilakitu, 7-3. This latter team now has no chances of lifting the title.

Sunday’s fixture includes two matches, Kilakitu vs. Val de Vie; and Britesmile vs. Bongani Mountain Lodge, after which the event-winning team will emerge.

The CaRRoL BoYeS Ladies Cup will thus come to an end this Sunday (14th), St. Valentine’s Day. LivingPolo.com continues to keep you updated on the progress of this event, and is proud to be one of its sponsors, as it will also be at the awards ceremony, presenting a blanket for the best pony of the event.
