Trio of teams remains undefeated in the hills at Ascochinga
San José, El Algarrobo and the home team have won in all their outings so far of the Copa Delfín Rueda
The second day’s (qualifying) matches of the Copa Delfín Rueda took place at the Ascochinga Polo Club on Monday, February 8th. This is a tournament open to teams with up to 8 goals’ handicap, and Asochinga, San José and El Algarrobo are the teams that have so far won all their matches.
Monday’s results were as follows: El Despido overcame La Higuerita 11½-7, San José defeated Pompeya 7-6½, and El Algarrobo defeated El Puesto 11-5½. In the meantime, home team Ascochinga had a tough time in emerging victorious against rivals Azufrar, as the 4½-4 result proves.
The event continues this Wednesday (10th) with the following fixture: El Algarrobo vs. San José, Ascochinga vs. El Despido, El Puesto vs. Pompeya and La Higuerita vs. San Miguel.
