Action galore, thrilling matches and a considerable amount of goals: three adjectives to describe the Copa Delfín Rueda which began on Sunday February 7th at the Ascochinga Polo Club, near the city of Córdoba (Argentina), with teams of up to 8 goals’ handicap taking part.
The opening day should have been Saturday 6th, but rainfalls in that region of Argentina led to a one-day delay regarding the kickoff. On Sudnday 7th, Ascochinga defeated San Miguel 10-4½, Azufrar overcame El Despido 10-6½, San José did so against El Puesto by 8-7½ and El Algarrobo emerged victorious by 11-7½ against Pompeya.
The event’s second day is on Monday, February 8th, with the schedule as follows: La Higuerita vs. El Despido, Pompeya vs. San José, El Algarrobo vs. El Puesto, y Azufrar vs. Ascochinga.
