Copa Horacio and Gonzalo Heguy decider between La Gitana and Chapa Bar
Improved weather conditions in La Pampa, Argentina, mean that finals can go ahead on Sunday 7th at the Chapaleufú Polo Club
Following the postponement of Friday’s matches, the organizers decided to leave aside the event’s second day’s schedule of the Copa Horacio & Gonzalo Heguy. After today’s (Saturday, February 6th) matches, the finalists are El Gitano and Chapa Bar.
The two teams that lost their matches on Thursday, Puerta Abierta and Anay Sur, played the first match, with the first-mentioned team winning 9-7. The second match of the day saw La Gitana overcome El Remanso 9-8, managing to claim a place in the final. Chapa Bar won the last match of the day, when it overcame Malapata 10-8, and thus became La Gitana’s rival in the final.
In this high-handicap tournament, with six teams competing, tomorrow Anay Sur and Malapata will battle it out for the Copa La Amistad, while the handicap final will be played between Puerta Abierta and El Remanso.
