The launch is to go ahead at La Vanguardia Polo Club, at San Andrés de Giles, in the province of Buenos Aires, on Sunday, December 13th, during the 2009 edition of the Copa Internacional La Vanguardia.

The Art Jeans by Paula Rivero will be exhibited during a fashion parade which will take place simultaneously with the final of the polo championship which is going ahead for the fourth time at this magnificent club. The proceeds from the sale of the Art Jeans will go to the Fundación APANOVI (Asociación Pro Ayuda a No Videntes). At the same time, there will be an exhibition of this artist’s work, and the curatorship will be in the hands of (Architect) Federico Platener.

Paula Rivero has an extense artistic career behind her. Her work has been exhibited not only in Argentina, but also in several European and American countries; in cities such as Prague, New York, México and Punta del Este. Her original canvases display a mixed colour technique, structured in some cases by orthogonal lines, with continuous low in what refers to script, a trademark of Rivero.

This fashion, art and polo spectacle will also be the perfect scenario for the exhibition match of female polo which is due to take place prior to the tournament’s final.
